Membership Eligibility

The World Association of Oculofacial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons (WAOPRS) welcomes professionals from around the world who are dedicated to advancing the science and practice of oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Membership categories details:

  • Full Membership
    Open to qualified Oculoplastic/ Oculofacial plastic surgeons who are actively engaged in oculoplastic, orbital, lacrimal, reconstructive, or aesthetic surgery. Applicants should demonstrate training, practice, or academic contributions in the field.
  • Associate / Affiliate Membership
    Open to Ophthalmologists, Plastic surgeons, ENT surgeons, Maxillofacial surgeons, and allied specialists who share a professional interest in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
  • Trainee / Resident Membership
    Designed for residents, fellows, and young ophthalmologists currently undergoing training in oculoplastic or related subspecialties.
  • Honorary Membership
    Conferred upon distinguished surgeons, academicians, or researchers who have made outstanding contributions to the specialty, by invitation of the WAOPRS Executive Committee.
